Mission Statement

Our mission is to foster and encourage knowledge of, and the participation in the game of chess, and its application on the Internet through:

• Having a public forum where players of all levels from around the world may meet to discuss any aspect of the game of chess 
  
• Developing and maintaining a chess website to present information on the game of chess, and the usage of chess on the Internet.
  
• Using and evaluating the various chess game and chess information websites, and providing guidance to chess players who are new this form of chess playing.
  
• Guiding new players and developing their knowledge of the game as an art form, leading to a higher skill level in practicing the game.
  
• Organizing tournaments and games for members to participate in, thus leading to the development of game skills and camaraderie among members.
  
• Developing smart partnerships with other chess organizations, clubs, or websites on the Internet to share or exchange information that is mutually beneficial to both.

Information below contains contact information for all the members who would like to participate in mentoring program. From here you can send e-mail to prospected mentors, or visit their personal home pages.  Everyone is grouped according to skill level. The way to choose a mentor would be to pick someone from the group above you, or of the same group level.
